Project Concept

A technology-company website built with Hugo — homepage, four services, and six sample projects. A static site built with the Hugo generator.

What the Interface Shows

The homepage, a single service detail page, and a single project showcase page.

My Role and Decisions

When testing the Docker image on a port other than the default, I found that the Hugo build was forcing a fixed base URL (http://localhost/), even though the project’s own configuration already enabled relative URLs. The fix was removing that override and building with just / as the base URL, so the image now works on whatever port the user chooses, not just port 80.

Technical Aspects

Hugo, separate content structures for services and projects, and decomposed base/partial templates.

Project Value in the Portfolio

Demonstrates diagnosing a real portability issue between the development environment and the container, and fixing it by aligning the build configuration with the project’s own settings.
