Video Platform Interface Project

Project Concept

A YouTube-style video browsing interface — a video feed, a watch page with comments, a creator channel, watch history, and filtered search. A fully static display interface with no backend or real external video hosting.

My Role and Decisions

While confirming the image’s offline completeness, I found a broken font path (a filename with different casing than the actual file) and a channel cover image pointing to a nonexistent path. Instead of adding new replacement assets, I went back to what was actually bundled in the project and found suitable existing files already there — I fixed both paths to point to the real, existing files, without introducing any new external dependency.

Technical Aspects

A static multi-page site (no build tool), Bootstrap, jQuery, and fully local assets (fonts, images, a sample video).

Project Value in the Portfolio

Demonstrates fixing broken asset dependencies by reusing what already exists instead of adding new ones, preserving the fully-offline preview promise.
